Belling bits
Belling bits (under-reamers) open out the toe of a bored pile into a bell, enlarging its base. Two-wing and three-wing designs for soil, rock, tricone and roller-cutter work, KD600–KD2000. Choose by pile diameter, bell diameter and the ground at the toe.
Each bit is lowered closed at body diameter D, then its wings open to cut the bell to diameter D1 and fold back for withdrawal. Across the catalogue the bell is roughly twice the shaft diameter, for example 1200 mm from a 560 mm body (KD600) up to 4000 mm from a 1960 mm body (KD2000).
Two-wing bits cover KD600 to KD2000 in seven sizes. Three-wing bits for soil and roller-cutter work come in three large sizes, KD1500 to KD2000. Every model page shows the catalogue photo, the dimension drawing and the full size table.
