Where our parts work

Organised by working condition rather than by catalogue section — from full-casing rotation and rotary drilling to coal cutting and road works.

Full-casing rotation method · field applications

Full-casing rotation is a system, not a single machine: rig, casing, shoe, grab, grouting head and power unit each own one stage of the work. Below, each component is matched to the working condition and ground type it typically serves.

Full-rotation rig boring with casing

Full-rotation rig · casing boring

Four-point clamping grabs the casing; two hydraulic cylinders drive it through 360° rotation while pressing down, and the cutting teeth on the casing shoe shear the soil to cut penetration resistance. Steel casing supports the bore throughout, so no slurry is needed and none is discharged. Variable clamping blocks let one rig cover pile diameters from 1000 to 2600 mm.

Casing shoe cutting into rock

Casing shoe · cutting into rock

Tungsten-carbide teeth on the shoe are the only part of the system that directly meets the ground. Backfill, cobbles and soft rock are cut straight through; in moderately weathered rock and harder, shoe wear governs penetration rate and change-out frequency. Wall thickness and joint type are matched to pile diameter and torque.

Grab excavation through karst and boulders

Grab excavation · karst and boulders

Once the casing is pressed to depth, the grab free-falls inside the casing to bite and lift out the spoil. The conical body self-centres on the way down. In karst cavities, boulder layers and rock-backfilled reclamation — ground where conventional methods collapse or neck the hole — the grab clears the spoil first and oversized boulders are broken with a cross chisel before removal.

Extended casing strings for deep piles

Extended casing strings · deep piles

Casings are jointed and pressed section by section, with extension rods covering long pile depths. Joint alignment governs the verticality of the whole bore — the deeper the pile, the more the result depends on casing stiffness and machining accuracy. On deep piles, the number of joints and the length of each section must be worked out together with rig stroke and lifting capacity.

Centred tremie pour during rotary grouting

Rotary grouting · centred tremie pour

After the cage and tremie are set, the grouting head rotates with the casing during withdrawal and keeps the tremie centred in the bore. Concrete rises continuously from the base without touching the bore wall, avoiding segregation, soil inclusion and pile breaks. Suited to deep, long and underwater pours.

Reaming and under-reaming a rock socket

Reaming & under-reaming · rock socket

Used after entry into rock to correct hole diameter and clear adhered soil from the wall, and for under-reaming to enlarge the end-bearing area. Working inside the casing means the bit is guided by the casing, so verticality does not depend on rod stability. For rock-socketed piles, the founding level is judged on recovered rock samples rather than on penetration rate.

Power unit working on a confined site

Power unit · working in confined sites

Hydraulic power for the rotation rig comes from a separate unit. For urban retrofit, work beside existing buildings or inside utility tunnels — sites a full-size rig cannot reach — a compact unit can drive small-diameter casing and extraction work. It breaks down for hoisting, needs little footprint, runs quietly and operates off mains power, which suits scattered small jobs such as pile extraction and utility diversion.

The configurations above are common combinations for full-casing and trenchless work. Method selection, casing specification and equipment matching depend on the geotechnical report and pile parameters — contact us for a selection review.
