Rotary-head drive 310

Overview

Drives the rotary head of a drilling rig at 36,000 N·m output torque, in ratios 28 and 32.6.

The motor coupling sleeve is double-splined (spline 1: 24 teeth, spline 2: 27 teeth, bearing seat φ85) and bolts directly to the hydraulic motor.

The first-stage planet carrier has 32 spline teeth and 225 mm maximum diameter; the second-stage ring gear has 68 teeth and φ400 outer diameter, common to both ratios.
